Home Condition ReportTo market your home for sale from 1st June 2007 you must have a Home Information Pack which may include a Home Condition Report but this is not a mandatory requirement of the Home Information Pack. A Home Condition Report is produced by a Home Inspector.The Home Inspector must provide an objective opinion about the condition of the property which the buyer, the seller and the buyer's mortgage company must be able to rely on and use. The Home Condition Report will tell you: . about the construction and condition of the home on the date it was inspect; and . whether more enquiries and investigations are needed. The Report's main aim is to tell you about any serious defects that need urgent attention or are serious. It may also tell you about things that need further investigations to prevent damage to the structure of the building. Back to Services |
